Daniela & Paul have years of experience chartering and entertaining guests throughout the Caribbean, and would welcome the opportunity to share our San Blas experience with you. If you want to learn to sail, take the wheel, help set up the boat, this is the place for you — we've logged more than 40,000 miles sailing and would love to share our knowledge of sailing and tales of the ocean life with you.
Sailing and enjoying the life of the San Blas Islands, all-inclusive adventures to discover and enjoy the Kuna life in Panama. Crystal clear water and beautiful small islands to discover, authentic Italian cooking onboard, fishing, snorkeling, and finding you one of the many deserted islands to relax on.
Our boat Play to Live is 100 percent green — we live exclusively off solar and wind power, and make all of our drinking water from rain onboard. Take the wheel if you like and learn sailing first hand. In the evenings you can sit and relax or join Paul fishing by the reefs for fresh sushi or ceviche. Daniela, who owned a restaurant in Italy, will entertain with cooking lessons — fresh pasta, homemade bread, bolognaise sauce, pizza, we do it all on our boat.

We arrange private 4x4 transport from Panama City to the port of Cartí (approx. 2.5 hours). From there, a short boat ride takes you to our sailing vessel. We handle all logistics so you can relax.
The dry season (December to April) offers the calmest seas and clearest skies. However, San Blas is beautiful year-round. The green season (May to November) has fewer visitors and lush scenery, with occasional brief tropical showers.
Pack light! Essentials include reef-safe sunscreen, swimwear, a light long-sleeve shirt for sun protection, a hat, and sandals. We provide snorkeling gear, towels, and bed linens. A dry bag for electronics is recommended.

Our second time with Play to Live and it was even better. Paul and Daniela are like family now. Already planning trip number three!

We spent four nights with Paul and Daniela and it was the best part of our Central America trip. The San Blas islands are breathtaking and having your own private sailboat to explore them is unbeatable.

Daniela, who owned a restaurant in Italy, prepares authentic Italian and Mediterranean meals using fresh local ingredients. All meals are included — breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. We accommodate dietary requirements with advance notice.
Hands-on sailing instruction is one of our specialties. Paul loves teaching guests how to handle the sails, read the wind, and navigate. You can be as involved or relaxed as you like — it’s your holiday.
The San Blas archipelago is a sheltered sailing area with calm, protected waters. Paul has over 40,000 miles of sailing experience. The boat is equipped with all safety gear, navigation systems, and satellite communication.
Our catamaran runs 100% on solar and wind power. We use rainwater purification for fresh water, minimize single-use plastics, and follow leave-no-trace principles. We’re committed to protecting the pristine San Blas environment.
Every charter is completely private — the boat is exclusively for your group. You’ll never share with strangers. It’s just you, your companions, and your crew (Paul & Daniela) for the entire journey.
Children of all ages are welcome. The catamaran is stable and spacious, perfect for families. We provide life jackets in various sizes and adjust activities to suit younger travelers. Many families with kids have had amazing experiences with us.
We offer flexible booking terms. Full details are provided at booking confirmation. Generally, cancellations made 30+ days before departure receive a full refund. We understand plans can change and work with you to find solutions.
